Use:

Used as a Top cover, provides triple layered protection against heat loss.

Characteristics at a glance:

• Colour: Black to Grey
• Grading: -10 mesh to Dust .
• Moisture: 1% to 1.5% Max.
• Form: Mainly powder having some granular part.
• Ignition: 15 Sec / 10gm at 1000^o C.
• Expansion: 2.5 to 3.5 times at 1000^o C.

Chemical Properties:

• Base: Al₂0₃
• Free Aluminium: 20% to 25%
• Carbon: 7% to 8%

Advantages:

• 1. Reduces heat loss by preventing top surface radiation.
